Speaker comments: Niayesh is an associate faculty member in Perimeter's cosmology group. He is also an assistant professor in the department of physics and astronomy at the University of Waterloo. He did his graduate studies at Princeton University, completing them in 2004. His research focuses on dark matter, dark energy, black holes and quantum gravity.
