Abstract

I will show how dynamical Wick rotation can reconcile the no boundary proposal of Hartle and Hawking with the fundamental Lorentz symmetry, despite previously demonstrated issues. The dynamical Wick rotation arises from quantum field fluctuations sourcing disorder for background geometry, analogously to Anderson localization of wavefunctions due to disorder, typically studied in condensed matter systems.
