Abstract

The three-dimensional galaxy power spectrum is a powerful probe of local primordial non-Gaussianity (PNG) and linear-order general relativistic (GR) effects on ultra-large scales, accessible to current large-scale structure surveys. In this talk, we present our calculation of GR effects in the spherical Fourier–Bessel (SFB) power spectrum, which naturally incorporates wide-angle geometry and radial evolution on the lightcone. We quantify the impact and measurability of these relativistic contributions, with particular emphasis on SPHEREx—an ongoing NASA Explorer mission aimed to achieve $ \sigma(f_{\rm NL})\sim 1$. These horizon-scale GR signatures provide a potential avenue to test gravity and dark energy through their imprint on metric perturbations, beyond the background expansion.
